German AfD Lawmaker Stripped of Immunity in Corruption Probe

Germany’s lower house of parliament stripped a far-right Alternative for Germany lawmaker of his immunity from prosecution as part of an investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering.

The move against the AfD’s Maximilian Krah Thursday in the Bundestag in Berlin was backed by all parliamentary groups, including his own party, and means his offices can be searched and evidence seized.
