Starmer’s Judgment Questioned Over Mandelson’s Epstein Links

Prime Minister Keir Starmer faced cross-party questioning over the relationship between UK Ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, as the envoy’s position came under severe pressure.

Under sustained questioning from Conservative opposition leader Kemi Badenoch at a session of prime minister’s questions on Wednesday, Starmer said he had confidence in Mandelson to continue in his post. “Full due process was gone through when the appointment was made,” he added.
