You.com Becomes a Unicorn, Shifts Away From Search Engine Plans

Artificial intelligence startup You.com has reached a valuation of $1.5 billion in a new $100 million funding round — part of the company’s continued pivot away from a consumer search and toward more general artificial intelligence services.

The round was led by Cox Enterprises Inc., with participation from existing investors including Georgian, Salesforce Ventures and Norwest.
