Jefferies Hires Citigroup’s Top Asia Real Estate Dealmaker Quek

Jefferies Financial Group Inc. has hired Citigroup Inc.’s top real estate veteran in Asia Jonathan Quek as it continues to establish its presence in the region, people with knowledge of the matter said.

Quek will join Jefferies as head of real estate, gaming and lodging for Asia, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private. He will also be a managing director and head of Southeast Asia, the people said, adding that Quek will remain in Singapore.
