President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s government is set to unveil its annual budget bill for 2026 without the extra space of 13 billion reais ($2.4 billion) from court-ordered payments known as precatorios, says Folha de S.Paulo.

A delay in congressional voting on a proposed constitutional amendment dealing with court-ordered debts left the government without the extra space under next year’s spending limit, according to the report, which cites two unidentified technicians from the economic team.
