Eurozone Resilient Despite Trade Woes, ECB’s Patsalides Says

The euro area is weathering current geopolitical challenges, according to European Central Bank Governing Council member Christodoulos Patsalides.

“The euro-zone economy appears resilient, despite difficulties internationally,” the Cypriot central bank chief told Politis newspaper in an interview published Sunday. “Nevertheless, the environment remains uncertain, mainly due to trade tensions.”
