Exxon CEO Congratulates Chevron After Bruising Feud Over Guyana

The head of Exxon Mobil Corp. has offered an olive branch to his counterpart at Chevron Corp. now that their hard-fought battle over Guyana is over.

Exxon CEO Darren Woods said this morning in an interview on CNBC that he recently called Chevron CEO Mike Wirth to congratulate him on the arbitration “win” for Hess Corp. and its Guyana stake. It’s a ruling he said this morning made him “very surprised.”
