AtkinsRealis to Seek Nuclear License as Part of Trump Initiative
Canada’s AtkinsRealis Group plans to apply for a US nuclear reactor license in a bid to leverage President Donald Trump’s atomic power initiative, the Financial Times reported.
Joe St. Julian, global president of the nuclear division at the Montreal-based engineering company, told the newspaper AtkinsRealis is exploring “opportunities for alternative large nuclear reactor technologies, notably Candu reactors, in the US.”
