Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, won over a surprising new fan with his first book, Principles, published in 2017. That fan was Bill Belichick, then head coach of the New England Patriots. Best known for winning Super Bowls and terse press conferences, Belichick says he saw a lot of his own approach in how Dalio described his life and guideposts.
