LA Under Second Night of Curfew as Trump Crackdown Expands

The downtown area ended a second night of curfew imposed by Mayor Karen Bass and was calmer Thursday morning, with a heavy police presence designed to prevent a repeat of the the unrest that has led to 600 arrests since last weekend, clashes with police and acts of vandalism and looting.
