Travis Kalanick’s CloudKitchens Explores IPO Of Middle East Unit

CloudKitchens, a startup run by former Uber Technologies Inc. Chief Executive Officer Travis Kalanick, is exploring an initial public offering of its Middle East operations, according to people familiar with the matter.

The ghost kitchen firm, backed by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to work on the deal, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private.
