Wayne Angell, Inflation Hawk on Fed Board in 1980s, Dies at 94

Wayne Angell, who brought a farmer’s wariness of inflation to US monetary policy-making during an eight-year term on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors starting in 1986, has died. He was 94.
He died on April 19 at his home in Laguna Beach, California, said Betty Angell, his wife of 74 years.
