High-Grade Bond Sales Restart After Brief Window Opens Up

The US high-grade corporate bond market reopened for sales Tuesday for the first time since President Donald Trump’s tariff announcement last week cratered credit markets and helped fuel the biggest one-day loss since 2022.
Paychex Inc. sold $4.2 billion of notes in three parts to fund its acquisition of Paycor HCM Inc., a competitor payroll processor. The bond sale is Paychex’s first in the investment-grade market.
