President Donald Trump’s campaign to shrink the federal bureaucracy has triggered a wave of job-hunting by workers at targeted agencies, according to a new study by Indeed Hiring Lab.

Applications on Indeed’s job matching and hiring platform have climbed more than 50% among employees of federal agencies singled out for review by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency — ranging from the US Agency for International Development to the Department of Agriculture — the research shows.
