Euronext NV said it will centralize the settlement of equity trades across its exchanges in Europe in a bid to boost the region’s capital markets.

Exchanges in Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris will designate Euronext Securities as their central securities depository for settling stock trades from September 2026, the bourse operator said in a statementBloomberg Terminal on Wednesday. The move aims to support the competitiveness of European markets, which have been hobbled by liquidity challenges and fragmentation.
