Dave Portnoy Says He Was Offered a Job at Commerce Department

Dave Portnoy, the controversial owner of Barstool Sports, said he was asked by the Trump administration to join the US Commerce Department.

“I got a call, I don’t know, a couple months ago” Portnoy said Tuesday in a video posted to X. “But a caveat of joining the government is somebody would have to run Barstool,” he said.
