Santander Boosts Dividend 20% After Record Profit in 2024

Banco Santander SA will pay a total dividend on last year’s profit of 21 euro cents per share, an increase of almost 20%, reflecting a record year.
The board will submit for shareholder approval a final dividend for 2024 of 11 cents, the lender said in a statement late Tuesday. That helps bring total shareholder remuneration for the year to about €6.3 billion ($6.6 billion), “divided equally” between cash dividends and share buybacks, it said.
