Ex-Tesla Director Denies Any Role in Courting Nissan Investment

Hiromichi Mizuno, a former board member at Tesla Inc., denied a report by the Financial Times that he’s leading a Japanese group that aims to persuade the EV maker to invest in struggling Nissan Motor Co.
Mizuno said in a post on X that he has “absolutely no involvement” in such a group and doubts that Tesla would have any interest in Nissan’s factories, as the newspaper suggests.
