France’s Engie Stepped Up Pace of Clean Energy Sales in 2024
Engie SA signed 4.3 gigawatts of power purchase agreements in 2024, compared with 2.7 GW the previous year.

French power provider Engie SA increased its sales of clean energy last year, signing new contracts with companies including Meta Platforms Inc. in the US and German chemical maker BASF SE.
In all, Engie signed 4.3 gigawatts of power purchase agreements in 2024, compared with 2.7 GW the previous year, the company said in a statement Monday. The 85 deals covered five continents and increased Engie’s total portfolio of power purchase agreements, or PPAs, to 14 GW, according to the statement.
