Turkey’s M&A activity fell 15% to $5.85 billion in 2024, as investor appetite remained subdued despite the country’s return to conventional economic policies.

The total number of transactions, excluding privatizations, climbed to 137, up from 97 in 2023, according to a report by the Ankara-based Competition Board, the country’s antitrust body.
