Sam Altman vs. Elon Musk
In one corner: the world’s richest man, electric car and rocket impresario, and self-proclaimed “first buddy” of Donald Trump. In the other: OpenAI’s chief executive officer whom Musk has accused, in a lawsuit, of hijacking the venture in pursuit of profit. Altman and OpenAI dispute the allegation, suggesting that Musk is just trying to harm a business rival. Musk countered with a Trumpian coinage, calling Altman “Swindly Sam.”
