Sweden’s economy continues to falter, and manufacturers no longer see a turnaround in business prospects in the near term, increasing pressure on the Riksbank to pick up the pace of interest rate cuts.
Output unexpectedly extended its contraction in the third quarter, according to data published by Statistics Sweden on Tuesday, adding to evidence that a long-awaited economic recovery has yet to materialize.
