Wells Fargo Hires Perella’s Meyer for Consumer, Retail M&A

Wells Fargo & Co. has hired Steven Meyer from Perella Weinberg Partners as a managing director focusing on consumer and retail mergers and acquisitions, according to people familiar with the matter.

Meyer will join Wells Fargo’s corporate and investment bank after a period of leave and will be based in New York, according to the people, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential information. He’ll report to Jeff Hogan, head of global M&A, they said.
