US Men’s Soccer Coach Fired After Copa America Exit, Fox Sports Says

US men’s national soccer coach Gregg Berhalter was fired after his team’s early exit from the Copa America tournament on July 1.
The 1-0 loss to Uruguay in Kansas City, Missouri, particularly stung because the US was hosting the tournament, which is usually held in South America. It was the first time the host nation has ever failed to advance to the knockout stage since the format was introduced in 1975.
