Orix Hires BlackRock’s Singhal to Lead Direct-Lending Unit

Orix Corporation USA has hired Nik Singhal as group head of direct lending as part of a broader reorganization the firm is undertaking to attract more external capital, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg.
Singhal, who starts his new role effective July 8, will be based in New York and will report to Jeff Abrams, group head of private credit and real estate.
