If you’re searching for Zyn, the oral nicotine pouch, keep looking — at least in the US. Ever since Philip Morris International (PMI), which owns the brand through its subsidiary Swedish Match, reported sales of Zyn had soared 80% earlier this year, demand has remained elevated while supply is — well, mostly either “sold out” and “out of stock,” in retailer parlance.

Philip Morris has also suspended online sales on Zyn.com after receiving a subpoena in the District of Columbia related to flavored products that are banned there. The company said a preliminary investigation indicated that there have been sales of flavored pouches in DC and it could face an unspecified “material liability” if there is an “unfavorable outcome” related to the matter.
