CK Group Acquires Northern Ireland’s Largest Natural Gas Network

A consortium including Hong Kong’s CK Infrastructure Holdings Ltd. agreed to acquire Northern Ireland’s largest gas distributor, Phoenix Energy, in a deal with an enterprise value of HK$7.4 billion ($945 million).
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of this month, according to a statement late Wednesday from the buying group. The consortium also includes CK Asset Holdings Ltd. and Power Assets Holdings Ltd.
