Abu Dhabi’s G42 Denies US Lawmaker Allegations of Ties to China

Abu Dhabi’s Group 42 Holdings denied allegations made in a New York Times article and a subsequent letter from a key US lawmaker who’s urging the Commerce Department to consider trade restrictions on the artificial intelligence firm over its ties to China.
In a statement on its website, G42 said it “categorically” denies the allegations in the news article and the letter from House China Select Committee Chairman Mike Gallagher “regarding G42’s supposed connections to the Chinese government and their military industrial complex.”
