By my count, I saw more than 35 shows in London in 2023. Some, such as Sunset Boulevard, were big musicals with starry casts. Others were intimate, including a one‑man take on Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya with Andrew Scott (yes, the hot priest from Fleabag). Next, I’m seeing Netflix’s prequel to Stranger Things.
