TSMC Takes Precautions as Super Typhoon Moves Closer to Taiwan

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the main chipmaker for Apple Inc. and Nvidia Corp., said it’s taking routine precautions at all its fabs in Taiwan as super typhoon Doksuri moves toward the island.
The measures being taken include “24-hour on-duty personnel and emergency response teams, including water, electricity, mechanical and disaster recovery experts,” the company said in an emailed response to inquiries.
