“Kampurarrpa Dreaming at Ngami” sounds like a name fit more for a painting than a kitchen gadget. In the case of a new juicer, part of Australian appliance maker Breville’s Aboriginal Culinary Journey series, it’s both. This special edition of its Juice Fountain Cold XL is adorned with artwork by painter Yalti Napangati, bringing vibrant culture to the countertop. And the company is donating 100% of its profit to create opportunities for Indigenous Australians. Kampurarrpa, also known as the desert raisin, is a staple of central Australia and ironically something you’d least be able to juice: Fortunately, the machine can quickly turn carrots, kale or whatever you prefer into liquid manna as vivid and colorful as the juicer that made them.
