On Monday Bloomberg reported Zillow Group Inc. is looking to sell about 7,000 houses to institutional investors as it seeks to recover from setbacks in its home-flipping business. Then on Tuesday, the company said it was pulling the plug on its tech-powered home-flipping operation all together. Shares fell 11.5% on Tuesday, followed by a further 23% drop on Wednesday as investors digested the news. The stock is now down about 50% since the start of the year.
