Russia detailed plans to tax wheat exports next year in response to President Vladimir Putin’s call to cool food-price inflation, a move that is expected to have a fairly limited impact on the nation’s shipments.

The government proposedBloomberg Terminal a levy of 25 euros ($30.40) a ton on wheat from mid-February though the end of June, while also pressing ahead with a previously announced grain-export quota for the same period, Economy Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said Monday.
