Danish State Auditors Slam Statistics Agency Over Data Quality

Denmark’s state auditors said the country’s statistics agency has failed to live up to quality requirements and that decisions and research may therefore be based on inaccurate data.
While Statistics Denmark increased productivity from 2015 to 2019, the agency failed to meet requirements in two out of three quality principles, the Auditor General’s Office, an independent unit working for the Danish parliament, said in a statement on Friday.
