Brazil is ready to join global efforts to fight terrorism and avoid an escalation in conflict, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement on actions by the U.S. in Iraq that killed a key Iranian military leader.
“Terrorism can’t be considered a problem limited to the Middle East and to developed countries, and Brazil can’t remain indifferent to this threat, which affects even South America,” according to the statement.
