GIP Hires Ex-TPG, World Bank Executive Jin-Yong Cai

Global Infrastructure Partners hired Jin-Yong Cai as a partner focusing on emerging markets, according to people familiar with the matter.
Cai will work with another of the infrastructure-focused investment firm’s recent hires, Jim Yong Kim, the former president of the World Bank, said one of the people, who requested anonymity because the hire isn’t yet public.
