Bank of Montreal has hired Scott Brison, a former Nova Scotia lawmaker who left Justin Trudeau’s cabinet last month after two decades in politics.

BMO Capital Markets announced the move in a statementBloomberg Terminal Thursday, saying his role as vice-chairman for investment and corporate banking will include “senior client coverage and business development.”
