The soccer championship for South American clubs will likely be played outside Argentina after it was postponed last weekend because of an attack on players.

The game may be played on the weekend of Dec. 8, Conmebol, the regional regulatory body, said in a Tweet. The conditions to play the match in Argentina don’t exist, Alejandro Dominguez, the head of Conmenbol, told reporters in Paraguay. The decision to be played must still be reviewed by the organization’s disciplinary board.
