Karen Handel Concedes to Lucy McBath in Georgia House Race

Republican Rep. Karen Handel conceded in the House race in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District to Democrat Lucy McBath.
The district, which includes suburbs of Atlanta, was won by President Donald Trump with less than 2 percentage points in 2016. It is the best-educated district in the nation held by a Republican as 62 percent of residents 25 and over have at least a bachelor’s degree.
