Honda Motor Co.’s Accord extended its stretch of consecutive U.S. sales declines to 10 months in August. The dismal run for the award-winning model shows just how swiftly consumer demand has shifted to sport utility vehicles and away from sedans, which also slumped at Toyota Motor Corp. and Ford Motor Co. Honda’s total deliveries rose 1.3 percent last month, trailing analysts’ 2.2 percent average estimate.
