Yasutaro Koide, recognized in August by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest living man, died early Tuesday at a hospital in Nagoya, central Japan, Kyodo reported. He was 112 years old.
With Koide’s death, Kyodo says the next oldest person in Japan is a 111-year-old man residing in Tokyo, citing the nation’s Health Ministry.
