Indonesian President Joko Widodo revamped his cabinet less than a year after taking office, naming former Bank Indonesia Governor Darmin Nasution as economy minister in a bid to jump start efforts to boost growth.

Nasution, 66, will replace Sofyan Djalil, who moves to the national planning agency, an official at the cabinet secretariat said in Jakarta Wednesday. There was no change announced to the post of finance minister, held by Bambang Brodjonegoro, while Widodo brought in new ministers for trade and maritime affairs.
