Treasuries Fall; 10-Year Yield Rises 3 Basis Points to 1.71%

Treasuries fell for the first time in four days.
The benchmark 10-year yield rose three basis points, or 0.03 percentage point, to 1.71 percent at 8:02 a.m. in London after falling to 1.67 percent yesterday, the lowest level since Dec. 12. The price of the 2 percent note due February 2023 dropped 9/32, or $2.81 per $1,000 face amount, to 102 20/32.
