More Pot, Fewer Guns, Higher Pay: How Americans Voted This Year

At the same time voters cast ballots for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Americans in many states also considered a number of ballot measures. Here are the results on the three most closely watched issues: marijuana, the minimum wage, and gun control.

At least three states legalized recreational marijuana, four approved medical marijuana initiatives

Four states voted to raise the minimum wage;
One rejected a lower minimum for minors

At least three states voted to expand background checks on firearms and ammunition
