Syracuse (Whitman)

Whitman is unranked on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Syracuse-based school is known for providing a close-knit and supportive community for its students. Among the comments from graduates, one remarked: “From faculty to classmates, everyone was approachable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. I always felt seen, heard, and supported—not just academically, but personally and professionally. It felt more like a family than a school.” The school is unranked this year because it reported too few of its graduates’ salaries to MBA CSEA.

Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — Syracuse (Whitman) ranked 25th in Inclusion, 38th in Entrepreneurship, 53rd in Networking and 69th in Learning. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.

The breakdown below is compared with other US schools. Collected gender and non-binary data is for all students in the newest class, which for most schools is the Class of 2026. Whitman reported 58% male and 42% female/non-binary.
