Dan Hanson is Chief UK Economist for Bloomberg Economics. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2015, he was an economic adviser at the UK Treasury where from 2013-2015 he was responsible for the maintenance and development of its macroeconomic model. Before that, he focused on fiscal policy and was part of the team that set up the Office for Budget Responsibility in 2010. He is based in London.
